As of March 10th, we will begin to phase out our support for Facebook as a login option. That means that any HER users who currently use Facebook as their primary login will need to replace it with a new method in order to continue to access their profile in the future. 

We are also removing the ability to create an account using Facebook after this date as well. It's a big change but not to worry! There are plenty of other methods you can use to log into HER. We've got you covered! 😎

How to Change Your Login Method From Facebook

iOS 

Log in to the app via Facebook (for the last time!) 

On the menu bar tap the … (3 dots) Button in lower right corner

Tap My Profile

Tap the ⚙️ Settings icon in upper left corner

Tap Connected Accounts

Enable one of our supported methods (Apple ID, Instagram, Phone number) by toggling the switch ON

Complete the authentication flow for that login method

Now you should have a ✅ next to a new method.

Android 

Log in to the app via Facebook (for the last time!) 

Tap the “⋮” in the upper-right corner

Tap Settings

Tap Connected Accounts

Enable one of our supported methods (Apple ID, Instagram, Phone number) by toggling the switch ON

Complete the authentication flow for that login method

Now you should have a ✅ next to a new method.

I Have An Existing Her Account

When linking your new login method you may see a message that states, "This account is connected to an existing HER account. First, disconnect it from the existing HER account, then connect it here." Getting an unexpected and confusing error message like that can be stressful. What if you don't have access to your last Facebook / Instagram / Apple ID / Phone Number?

The Facebook Login Option is Gone and I'm Locked Out

Normally, the only way you can add a login method to your existing profile is to already be logged into your account. It's all good! Don’t worry. If you’ve already been locked out there's still hope! Contact support for the next steps. We will get you logged back into your account and set up with a brand-spankin' new login method. 💪✨
