The HER platform is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We take this policy seriously to ensure the safety and well-being of all our community members. If we become aware of any accounts belonging to underage users, they will be put on hold or suspended until they can verify their age using a valid government-issued photo ID.

We understand that verifying your age may seem like a hassle, but we take these steps in order to keep our users safe. Please be assured that your government ID is immediately deleted from our system after we’ve used it to verify your account.

Note: In some cases, depending on available account information, we may also request the email address associated with your HER account, a clear photo of yourself holding a piece of paper with a designated message on it, or even a clear selfie of you holding your valid, government-issued ID.

Users in the state of Texas

If you are in Texas and unable to sign up for an account:

HER is for adults 18+ only. To comply with Texas law, we use age information provided by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to prevent anyone under 18 from accessing our service.

If you are over 18 but unable to create an account, please check your app store settings to ensure:

• Your date of birth is correct
• Your account is not under parental supervision, and
• Age information sharing is enabled.

Once your settings are updated, return to HER and try again.
